North American broadcasters attending some of the Fall’s most anticipated shows can look forward to hearing from the representatives of The Telos Alliance® regarding some of today’s hottest topics.

The Ohio Association of Broadcasters – 2015 Ohio Broadcast Engineering Conference

  •          Well-known Telos Alliance spokesman Kirk Harnack, C.B.R.E., C.B.N.E, will give a presentation regarding the ins and outs of “Modern Streaming Audio: Leveraging New Technologies To Attract Today's Listeners” on September 23rd at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

  •          Also on September 23rd, Omnia® Audio Senior R&D Engineer Cornelius Gould will speak on one of today’s hottest topics: “Watermarking and Voltair®: Issues for Radio”.

 

Central Canada Broadcast Engineers – CCBE 2015

  •          Cornelius Gould talks with Canada’s broadcasters about “The Intersection of Traditional Audio Processing and Voltair”, on September 25th at the Horseshoe Resort, Barrie, Ontario.

  •          Also on September 25th, 25-Seven® Systems President Geoff Steadman speaks about “New Monitoring Capabilities For Measuring Watermark Quality Using Voltair”.

  •          Finally, Telos Alliance Director of Research, Dr. Barry Blesser, presents “Experimental Methods and Analytic Frameworks for Optimizing Radio's Watermarking System”.

 

NAB Radio Show 2015

  •          On Thursday, October 1st, visitors to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia can hear Kirk Harnack’s presentation “Modern Streaming Audio: Leveraging New Technologies To Attract Today's Listeners”.

  •          Geoff Steadman will conduct a presentation regarding Voltair for NAB Radio audiences, entitled “New Monitoring Capabilities for Measuring Watermark Quality”, also on Thursday, October 1st.

 

Wisconsin Broadcasters Clinic 2015

  •          On October 13th at the Madison Marriott Hotel, Telos Alliance Marketing Manager Shane Toven presents “Using Livewire+/AES67 to Build Complete Facilities Over IP”.

  •          Also on October 13th, Omnia’s Cornelius Gould will give his presentation on “Watermarking and Voltair”.

 

2015 IEEE Broadcast Symposium

  •          Visitors to IEEE’s 2015 Broadcast Symposium at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida on October 15th can hear Telos Alliance Chief Science Officer Greg Shay present “Using Livewire+™/AES67 to Build Complete Facilities over IP”.

  •          On October 16th, Dr. Barry Blesser will present “Audio Watermarking in Broadcasting is a System within a System”, part of the “Science of PPM” afternoon breakout.

 

Western Association of Broadcast Engineers – WABE 2015 Convention

  •          Dr. Barry Blesser of 25-Seven Systems will discuss “Experimental Methods and Analytic Frameworks for Optimizing Radio's Watermarking System” on October 20th at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

  •          Following Dr. Blesser, Cornelius Gould speaks about “The Intersection of Traditional Audio Processing and Voltair” on the afternoon of October 20th.

  •          Finally, 25-Seven President Geoff Steadman presents “New Monitoring Capabilities for Measuring Watermark Quality using Voltair” on October 20th.

 

Audio Engineering Society – 139th Annual AES Convention

  •          At the Javits Center in New York, Telos Alliance Chief Technical Officer and Linear Acoustic Founder Tim Carroll joins the panel for a discussion of “Audio for Broadcast Video - Immersive, Personalized, 4k and 8k” on October 31st.

  •          Telos Alliance CEO and Omnia Founder Frank Foti will appear in the "Broadcast and Streaming Media: B5 - Audience Measurement for Stream and Broadcast" on Friday October 30th alongside David Layer, Rob Green, and John Rosso. This 90-minute session will focus on some of the latest audience measurement techniques for both over-the-air and streaming and help you to understand some of the nuances of the methods and technologies employed.
  •          Greg Shay will appear as a panelist in three sessions: “Network Performance Requirements for Audio Applications” on October 30th, “How to Get AES67 into Your Systems/Products” on October 31st, and “AES67 Interoperability Testing” on November 1st.

  •          Kirk Harnack will moderate the “Integrating Mobile Telephony and IP in Broadcast” panel discussion on October 31st.
