AP-3000 is a 1-RU AoIP hardware platform that hosts pre-installed, container-delivered Telos Alliance products, including the Telos® VXs Virtual VoIP broadcast phone system, Omnia® Forza software audio processor for HD, DRM, DAB, and streaming, and Axia® Altus virtual mixing console.
Bridging the Gap
AP-3000 combines all of the benefits of software-based solutions with the simplicity of dedicated hardware, making it an ideal choice for customers wishing to explore the advantages of virtualization in a pre-configured, plug-and-play platform.
Each AP-3000 is built-to-order and factory pre-configured for its unique intended environment, providing a true “plug-and-play” installation experience. Three configuration options are available:
Telos VXs: A single VXs system with up to four channels, four AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) instances, and twelve lines, plus one or two Altus mixing consoles, including WebRTC contribution and monitoring options
Omnia Forza: Up to four instances of Omnia Forza processing
Axia Altus: Up to four Altus virtual mixing consoles, including WebRTC contribution and monitoring options
Which Telos Alliance products can be delivered on AP-3000?
AP-3000 can host the Telos® VXs Virtual VoIP broadcast phone system, Omnia® Forza software audio processor for HD, DRM, DAB, and streaming, and Axia® Altus virtual mixing console
Can I mix and match products on the same AP-3000 platform?
Each AP-3000 serves as a platform for one of the three currently supported configurations and can host up to four instances of its particular product (VXs, Forza, or Altus). The exception is the Telos VXs configuration, which can accommodate two Altus consoles in addition to a single VXs system.
Are custom configurations possible?
The three current supported configurations have been thoroughly tested and proven, but customers who have a need for a unique configuration are welcome to contact their Telos Alliance representative to discuss their individual needs.
Who is the AP-3000 platform made for?
We recognize that not everyone is in the same place on their technology journey. Some are most comfortable with traditional hardware, while others are ready to embrace full-scale virtualization. AP-3000 “bridges the gap,” allowing customers who aren’t yet prepared to take the wholesale leap toward virtualization to enjoy its many benefits while providing the ease of installation afforded by a dedicated hardware platform.
