Introducing Linear Acoustic® ARC Loudness Control Solution and Showcasing Latest Advancements to Telos Infinity® AoIP Intercom
Cleveland, OH (August 21, 2018) – The Telos Alliance TV Solutions Group (TVSG) will feature its latest innovations in audio technology for the broadcast market at IBC 2018 (stand 8.D47). The big news is the introduction of Linear Acoustic ARC (Automatic Realtime Control) – our next-generation television loudness processor, affordably packaged in a two program, 2-channel, 1RU product. With a user-definable loudness target, ARC is designed for simple set up and compliance with all global loudness standards and recommendations, including EBU R128 and ATSC A/85. Telos Alliance TVSG will also be showcasing the latest additions to its breakthrough Telos Infinity® AoIP Intercom solution, the award-winning product that converges voice communication and contribution audio on a single IT backbone and eliminates the traditional challenges associated with a central matrix.

Linear Acoustic ARC delivers a “set and forget” LUFS output loudness target, selectable profiles for easy compliance with EBU R128 and ATSC A/85 recommendations, 2-channel (stereo) processing for two independent programs, our next-generation APTO™ processing, and more.
Telos Infinity IP Intercom converges voice communication and contribution audio on a single IT backbone, employing the latest standards-based VoIP and Livewire+ AES67 AoIP protocols. By eliminating the need for a conventional central matrix, the long-standing issue of running out of ports is eliminated. And because it is built on a system of distributed DSP, Telos Infinityis a dynamic, self-healing design that actually provides more capacity as the system grows. Because it is natively Livewire+ AES67 compliant, it enjoys all of the associated advantages including reduced cabling and lower cost of ownership.
