The seminar will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day and there is time Wednesday for any wanting to sit for the SBE certification exam.
On Tuesday, November 28th the morning session will feature Kirk Harnack on Audio over IP (AoIP) in today’s radio studio, including AES67 and audio streaming. Kirk will demonstrate various pieces of equipment and procedures that engineers need to be aware of in making the transition to AoIP.
After lunch on Tuesday, Omnia Manager of U.S. Sales Paul Kriegler will discuss proper digital audio processing techniques and the latest design in digital audio equipment. Paul will have some interesting stories about the development of audio processors over the years and will demo uMPX, which sends a full composite signal via a 320kbps digital bitstream.
