Telos Alliance TV Solutions Group
The Telos Alliance TV Solutions Group is an initiative that spans all six brands of the Telos Alliance, bringing together products from Telos, Omnia, Axia, 25-Seven, Linear Acoustic, and Minnetonka to fulfill the expanding needs of the TV broadcast markets via a single working group, with AoIP and AES67 education and deployment one of the group's top priorities.
We didn't just pioneer AoIP products and solutions: We invented the technology. With over 100 technology partners and more than 100,000 Livewire and Livewire+ AES67 devices deployed worldwide, The Telos Alliance offers the industry’s most comprehensive range of AoIP solutions, now fully integrated under the TV Solutions Group.
Linear Acoustic was the first Telos Alliance brand to provide a television product that utilizes AoIP and continues to lead the industry toward high quality yet compliant DTV audio. Products include the AERO-series of real-time processors, UPMAX® upmixing and downmixing solutions, LKFS metering solutions such as the LQ-1000 Loudness Quality Monitor, and signal analysis tools like the MT2000 Multichannel Bitstream Analyzer.
By fully supporting our partners in the television industry with the specific systems, products and expertise they need to capitalize on the numerous benefits networked audio systems provide both today and into the future, our innovative AoIP solutions deliver improved workflows and enhanced operational efficiencies while increasing performance and lowering TCO.

Telos Alliance’ Axia AoIP mixing consoles may well be the best kept secret in TV sound. With many thousands of AoIP consoles already installed in radio studios around the world, television is starting to wake up to AoIP and in particular the benefits of interoperable systems that feature AES67, part of the SMPTE 2110-6 Media-over-IP standard. AoIP isn’t new; it is a mature and proven technology that was invented by the Telos Alliance in 2003. More
Sometimes the best solutions are hidden in plain sight. Antiquated telephony solutions for contribution and communications are a great example. Business phone systems are already IP, and our audio systems are increasingly based on AoIP, so why don’t we make use of technology that can bring the two together? At the Telos Alliance, we do exactly that. Telos Alliance Broadcast Telephone Systems embrace both the traditional and the new. More
In a traditional baseband audio system, signal distribution and format conversion are tasks that usually require dedicated devices, either rackmount or as part of a modular card frame, plus the cabling infrastructure to get the signal from A to B. In a distributed network system using Livewire+ AES67, the end point devices are still required, but the infrastructure is part of the existing COTS network and many of the end point devices may already exist as part of the routing system.
