Axia Audio and Scott Studios Announce Partnership

12 April 2004, Cleveland Ohio, USA

Axia Audio, the new subsidiary of Telos Systems specializing in networked studio audio, has announced a partnership with Scott Studios (www.scottstudios.com), makers of digital audio distribution systems and professional audio software for broadcast.

As an Axia value-added reseller, Scott Studios will offer Axia audio networking components bundled along with Scott Studios systems, engineered to provide their clients with equipment and accessories that will allow them to take full advantage of the capabilities of their Scott-provided Axia network. Scott will also license the Axia IP-Audio Driver for integration into Scott Studios and Computer Concepts application software, which will allow workstations and servers to send IP-Audio directly to the Axia network, eliminating any need for PC soundcards.

Dave Scott, President of Scott Studios, says, “This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for both of our companies. Scott Studios is committed to the Axia approach for several reasons, not the least of which is that we believe audio over IP is the next big thing.”

“Our relationship began with a joint-development project between Telos and Computer Concepts to enable SmartSurface to work with their Epicenter TDM Routing system. We are very excited to know that the collaboration will continue. Scott Studios enjoys an excellent reputation in the broadcast industry," says Axia President Michael Dosch. “This partnership will allow both firms to provide even more advanced, integrated and cost-effective solutions to our clients.”

Axia and Scott Studios will both be exhibiting at the 2004 NAB Convention in Las Vegas; visitors are invited to see Axia in the Telos booth, N1416, and featured in the Scott Studios booth, N3007.
