The LAMBDA™ Digital Audio and Metadata Monitor displays and monitors both audio and metadata. Up to 16 channels of baseband PCM audio can be fed and monitored via eight BNC inputs, or extracted from applied HD/SD-SDI signals. The decoded and de-embedded audio channels are available on AES outputs. A full-time 2-channel LtRt or LoRo downmix is also provided and available on AES and balanced analog audio outputs.
ITU-R BS.1770 loudness measurements are available on LAMBDA's front panel display via meters and numeric values for accurate visual monitoring of eight audio channels and metadata information. Audio can be monitored through the premium tuned speaker system with digital crossovers and bi-amplification or through the powerful front panel headphone output.

LAMBDA II is the ultimate digital TV broadcast audio monitor, offering AES and embedded HD/SD-SDI inputs for up to 16 audio channels. Optionally, it can also decode Dolby Digital (AC-3), Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3), and Dolby E signals.
Loudness measurements in accordance with the ITU-R BS.1770 standard are clearly displayed on the long-life vacuum fluorescent display along with metadata information including acmod and dialnorm. Audio levels for all applied channels are visible and can also be audibly monitored per-pair or as a downmix.
Outputs include HD/SD-SDI, individual AES pairs, a full-time Lt/Rt or Lo/Ro downmix, and balanced analog stereo outputs plus a front panel headphone output.
